The Roku HD1000 uses the Linux kernel and various other software released under the GPL. This license requires that we release any changes we have made to this software. Below you can download the software used in the HD1000 that was derived from GPL-licensed packages. If you would prefer to receive the source on CD, please contact support@roku.com. A nominal fee of $10.00 will apply.

Included in the above archive are all of the patches to GPL-licensed software used in the HD1000. Also included is complete source to the Linux kernel used in the HD1000. The archive contains patches to all of the packages listed below. If you are unable to find any of the packages on the internet, contact support@roku.com and we will make them available to you.

Note: Many of the packages are just used in our SDK and not in the retail release of HD1000 software.
